Can it get smaller? That's pretty big.
How about I make a text advertisement? That okay?

darkmagic42 - September 5, 2008 12:54 AM (GMT)
Done. It's on my sig at TPA.
Saint Kane - September 8, 2008 06:43 AM (GMT)
cool. I used the one from Sammy's signature.
LxShutdown - September 19, 2008 01:57 AM (GMT)
I don't think that's a very great idea on some forums, because that banner is rather large.
Saint Kane - November 19, 2008 06:55 AM (GMT)
There's a smaller one in my signature at TPA.
Saint Danez Acolyte - March 28, 2009 09:28 PM (GMT)
If it's larger, it's more noticeable. I have added the signature to my TPA file.
Saint Danez Acolyte - April 26, 2009 06:15 PM (GMT)
How did you make it smaller?!
Saint Kane - June 22, 2009 01:34 AM (GMT)
It's in another topic. I'll post it here too.

You should Tell everyone to pitch in some money or something
Saint Kane - July 15, 2009 05:25 AM (GMT)
Ha. Now THAT would be a miracle. If a hollywood production was completely funded by fan contributions. ;)
If I decide to make a small movie myself, I could consider that... but I doubt people would go for something they aren't sure about. But with the planning we present on this forum, that should at least help D.J. decide.
RYSTAR*18 - July 20, 2009 03:40 PM (GMT)
if pitching in becomes a reqiurment for members,i cant do that because i am always broke.usually if i need money$$,i just mooch off my mom or my friends, .i will at least try to earn money$$ though.
Mawsk.Drummer.4.Him - July 25, 2009 07:54 PM (GMT)
whoa whoa whoa! WHOA!
we need IDEAS, for sure foundation that this is what we'd like to see happen and a lot more befor ewe takl about throwing in our money.
no that it isn't a good idea, but we need to know waht we're funding before we fund it.
stick to the topic at hand: getting other Pendragon fans to know about this forum.
signature's a good idea. but word of mouth is a good one too. send out a group email to anyone you know who likes the Pendragon books. I think I'm going to do that myself :P
RYSTAR*18 - July 26, 2009 09:43 PM (GMT)

Saint Kane - December 11, 2009 02:25 AM (GMT)

So, back to this subject, a large part of this series becoming a reality is for it to actually have a strong fan base. And not just the people from the old forums.
So all I can say is to tell your friends about Pendragon. Tell them it's a great read and to check out Merchant of Death. And I know D.J. would probably be even more pleased if they went and bought it. ;)
And after they start reading and discussing it with you, they might tell you what they don't like about the series or things they got bored with. Which will be things we want to take note of for an adaptation.
If they say something like "I don't really like Saint Dane. He's not a good villain." Well, we can't change that, so they can go jump off a bridge. B)
Word of mouth advertising.
And after they've finished the series, you can mention this site. If they don't find it first, that is.
LaBerge's girl - July 31, 2010 12:09 PM (GMT)
Haha, "Hey, we can't change that! Go jump off a bridge!" :P
I agree. Word of mouth is important. I told my cousin's friend the other day when she was out to check it out, because she likes those sort of books, so I think she's going to give them a read.
But if I find someone who's a reader of fantasy and adventure stories, I'll definitely suggest Pendragon.
Saint Kane - July 31, 2010 10:06 PM (GMT)
Maybe I'll buy a couple extra copies and start loaning them to people. ;P
LaBerge's girl - July 31, 2010 10:16 PM (GMT)
That sounds like a good idea.
I've actually gone out and purchased 7 of the new covers, still waiting till I find 2, 9, and 10. Of course, the originals are my favourites but I do love the new covers, the color schemes and whatnot, so I went out and bought em. Why not? ;)
Now I'll have both sets! :)

LaBerge's girl - July 31, 2010 10:34 PM (GMT)
I couldn't resist. Haha, my dad saw me buying them and asked me, "Uh, didn't you already buy those books?" I got all defensive and argued, "Yeah, but they're new covers!"
Plus, if anything ever happened to my older set, say if they got old and faded out (which they probably will), I'll have a newer and better in shape set. ;)
I'd laugh if there came out a third set of Pendragon covers.
Saint Kane - August 3, 2010 03:11 AM (GMT)
I'd laugh if you bought 'em. ^_^
LaBerge's girl - August 3, 2010 03:30 AM (GMT)
You bet I would! :P
Bring em on! ;)
